Owvey! Our company Christmas party is finally over. I had a week-long preparation for the Glam Rock theme but I don’t think I was able to pull it off. On the lighter side I’m happy to somehow accomplished my goal of looking girlish that night with the outfit + make-up. LOL!

The party was held in the Grand Pacific Ballroom of Cebu Watefront Hotel and Casino. You can imagine how big the venue is if you’re from Cebu. I like! However, it wasn’t full packed though compared the previous years. Probably because they made it as a 2-night event as they have decided to join accounts for both sites. I attended the first night which was plain so so.

Rico Blanco rocking the house with his OPM hits. Just so you know I did not fully enjoy his songs. Apparently, I’m not a hardcore fan of rock/alternative music plus I couldn’t sing along with him and he’s not too hot for me to handle. He has this big mouth that can eat you like a whole roasted chicken. Sorry but true. Basically, that explains it.. Team Bamboo here for life! Yeah! Hehehe..

Moving along, this is what I’m talking about! The Japan Japan! I couldn’t pass the opportunity to be cam-shot on one of the hotel’s carpeted stairways for your eyes only. Hahaha! Yes or no?.. I had fun that night but I promise not to wear high-heels in a such a long period of time. Ouch! LOL!

PS: Two nights to go for Christmas! Yey! voila v!

Visayas and Mindanao unite! Alas! It’s confirmed! We’re gonna already have a taste of IMAX here Cebu. Thanks to SM for making this happen. Read the full article HERE.

Amazing eh?.. I really admire how SM makes new technology within reach to the Pinoy people. This IMAX thing really opens a new experience to movie goers in the ViMinda regions. I mean, we need not to go North to feel the thrill. Sadly, when I had my last visit to Manila last year I totally missed the chance to go movie the IMAX way. But as they say, things happen when you least expect it. And truly, madly, deeply – SM has it all! Yeyy to SM and go for the IMAX! Excited na oka! voila-v!

beach

I so need a vacation now! Work has been quite demanding lately or should I say I’m just too overwhelmed with the volume of phone calls coming in, which I’m honestly not used to. Let me remind myself how I love my work, awright?.. Go!

Anyhow, I’m thinking of going to the beach to chillax and cool off. Probably to Moalboal or Bantayan. Imagine the scenic beauty of the beachfront view from the cottage with all the rustic furnitures, the sea, the sun, and the sand. Sooo summer in July. Hayyy.. I have to plan this and make it happen! Campers anyone?.. vi-a-v!

Photography 101

I really wanted to have an artistic eye in photography. It’s one of the reasons why I bought a digicam to take snapshots of anything cute for me. I guess my shaky hands know how to jinx it. But I’m glad to show you these random photos I took the other week. Go with the sepia..

So what do you think? Should I or should I not?.. Hehehe.. Personally, I like all the shots. It’s so dramatic like me. Hehehe.. Happy weekend everyone! voila v as always!

Mama mia! After months of no gimiks, last Saturday night was a shaker! I haven’t had any night out for ages already and when my good sweet gengs rang the bell for a shindig? GOGOGO! We had a karaoke moment in POD5 then headed to The Loft for a quick chill and bumped our booties in full house music at the Penthouse. Too bad your Cinderella has to leave early for his 1:30am shift. Loser much! Hahaha!

Dance Dance Dance

Boy! It’s raining cats and dogs (how I wish men) here in metro Cebu and I’m not the happiest person now. First, my immune system broke down and I’m caught up with slight fever and colds. Second, my rest days are finally over and have to be back later midnight for work.  And finally, my love layf is still ZERO.. Unbelievably true! Hahaha! I know that sounds loser of me but I’ve been thinking of that lately. The fact that I never had a BF eversince makes it worse. Promise! It’s like.. ‘Hoy bakla, magkaBF ka na noh!’ Anong pecha na?! Of chors, as my ever supportive friends always say, the right time will just come. But the 10 thousand pesos question is – WHEN? I guess I have to leave it to the bow and arrow of Mr. Cupid for the strike. Anyhow, since it’s soaking wet outside here something to keep you warm and upbeat, a song by Lykke Li – Dance Dance Dance. She’s Swedish. This song is cute I tell you and I have the feeling that you’re going to like it. Enjoy and dance, dance, dance…

As always, voila v-shape!

I’m posting this to share to everyone that prayer saves. Puleezz.. Don’t ever think I’m doing another Mother Teresa dramatic moment here. In fact, I’m even embarrassed to say that I’m not your typical hardcore Catholic. Ask me to enumerate the 10 commandments and boy I don’t know what comes next in order. But I’m not hypocrite enough to be godly yet wicked when outside God’s temple. He knows how I flunk my Sunday mass attendance however it’s a not reason for me not to pray and be thankful for everything. I know I have all the reasons not to hear the Sunday mass and I’m guilty. God forgive me on that.

Anyhow, yesterday was just an ordinary work off day for me and I thought of attending the Wednesday mass in Basilica del Sto. Niño around 5:30PM. It was also my niece’s 2nd year birthday and I thought of going to the church to say my blessings. I took a jeepney going there. It stopped when we came near to the church and I’ve decided to step out as well since it’s just a split away already. Traffic light is in red and 2 rows of vehicles in the right lane are in freeze mode. I did not notice the third row which was green in right arrow then. I started walking and the moment I stepped on the vacant row which I failed to mind the ‘go’ signal at that time, lo and behold of the loud long squeaking sound of a vehicle’s break on my backside. I turned back and saw that my right hip is 5 inches close to the jeepney’s bumper and I heard an earsplitting honk of its horn after. Boy! I almost got hit and run and I could have died right there and then or probably got injured. To my shock, I run fast to the side. People were staring at me and the driver even shouted: ‘Patyon ta kang bayota ka!’ I’ve got no rebuts and the thing that popped in my mind was ‘Thank you GOD for saving me…’ I don’t know what could have happened to me there but that very moment was a miracle. I mean, I was inches close to tragedy. I tried to compose myself while heading to the church and got teary-eyed the moment I got inside. You know how an emotional prick I am but it was really something. I felt it was a pure reminder for me to be mindful and that God listens to my daily prayer for His guidance and protection I’ve always ask. With that being said, I’m so blessed to be in my complete state still. Amen.

Skywalk Extreme

For the record, I have never ever done anything that I consider an extreme adventure to the extent of doing bungee jumping, white water rafting, wall climbing, etc. I’m a gutless chicken! You know how a coward prick I am that dipping myself into a 7-feet open seawater (much as I know how to swim) would scare the heck out of me! Not until a week ago when my college bessies Anne and Kat both decided to do Skywalk Experience given their limited time here in Cebu. I was a bit hesitant to participate since I’m not so good with heights. I tell you I’m an altophobic homo. Walking on the open sky-high outer rim level of the Crown Regency Tower’s 37th floor is something I’ve never imagined doing. Then again, as they say, you have to conquer your fears to feel life.. Charot!

dsc_0045_2

Striking a pose there (me, Anne, Kat & Joy) all suited up and briefed for 15 minutes with do’s and don’ts for any unexpected mishaps which we thankfully did not experience throughout the event. Goodgraciousness!

dsc_0058_2

I need not to explain this and just let the picture speaks for itself. God knows how terrified I was when I first stepped onto the 1.5 meters wide brim that I decided to take a crawl. Kaloka! Hahaha!

dsc_0072_2

Sitting on the edge to really feel the thrill. I was only halfway seated since I’m too paranoid to fall off. The guide was even convincing me to take the full sit with my feet dangling on the edge and I was like, NO WAY! Pasaway siya! And the city lights are absolutely breathtaking.

dsc_0063_2

And of chors, Japan-Japan! I would never pass up the opportunity to do a cute take with the swan pose on top of the world! Faggotry in the move! Yeah! Beat that! Hahaha!

Overall, the adventure was fun and truly challenging for me. I’ve triumphed over my fear of heights which I’m so proud of because it’s my major phobia. After all, this experience is worth bragging for. This is simply extraordinary for me since it’s something that I don’t usually do. It was a champion trip for us which I recommend to all. A definite must try to anyone who visits Cebu. I’m actually thinking of doing it again with the sun up this time to see a different city view. Click here for the rest of our Skywalk photos. vi-a-v!
