And this is so outdated! I should’ve posted this days right after the Davao City experience. It took me a while to compile every photo and there were some mild changes with my schedule which I had a little hard time keeping up. Anyhow, here’s the link to our camshots galore in Pearl Farm Resort, Eden Garden Park, Crocodile Farm, Jack Ridge, People’s Park and of course the Apo View Hotel where we had our accommodation. I enjoyed every bit of experience I had in Davao! Promise! Happy Holidays to all and vi-a-v!

My kind of house…

I have always been so obsessive of having my own house with all the decorations and furniture of my choice. But reality check again peeps that I don’t poo hard cash right there and then so let’s just pretend and be hopeful that someday I will own one. Fingers crossed here! And since I mentioned about owning a house and all, might as well share with you my mild preferences of having a personal crib. Voila v! My major consideration is nonetheless the space. As much as possible it has to be roomy to accommodate my personal picked furniture and interior décor. Though I love minimalism I still kinda feel the oriental touch on my pieces. I adore modern wall hues, edgy looking decors, flat yet oriental furniture and even rugs for floor ornament. Hefty sets are not my thing. And talking about rugs, I’ll avail on cheap rugs which at the same time do not compromise style and quality. I’m a thrifty pig, so I don’t dwell much on mega expensive pieces not unless it’s a must-have for me or else I’m gonna die of not having it. Joke! When it comes to picking furniture, ‘Victorian’ style is definitely out of my taste. I’m not a fan of crystal chandeliers and anything which signifies the ‘Victorian’ luxe. Even for area rugs, I’ll absolutely go for the modern colors, shapes, and geometric or abstract print. And another thing is I love landscaping! It’s something that my house should have. With all these wishful thinking said, I wonder when can I have my own house.. vi-a-v as always!

Okey everyone! Here goes the cover shot of Preview Magazine December 2008 issue. Now tell me who the covergirl is? Anne Curtis in take three is dat u? Kaye Brosas is tat chu? Girl it’s Rhian Ramos! Gotcha! You see what I’m saying here.. This cover had me do a second look when I saw it fresh on the mag rack. I can’t believe it took me few secs to recognize Rhian. Or probably I’m just getting old and my eyes need a little upgrade. I applaud Preview for coming up another bold cover but I sense quite a max photochopping done there. I’m not against it coz I love being photochopped too. It’s just that my failure to identify Rhian means there’s something odd on the front gloss.. I think.. Or is it just me.. Whatevs! Anyhow, the editorial was ultra luxe in Ferragamo pieces from their 80th anniversary collection. She donned coats from suede sequined to fur collared and a number of dresses posing on top of an XK Jaguar convertible car. Expensiveness! I think Rhian is a model potential. She’s young at 18 and her long legs and strong facial points made the look. But what’s interesting is her philanthropic commitment for Greenpeace and A Better Chance Foundation. Not only she get herself involve into those good-cause orgs but she’s surprisingly open to adoption like Angelina Jolie.. Now that’s my girl! I’ll really look forward to her baby collectibles. Go! Go! Go! vi-a-v!

Rags to riches my dear..

Alright! I know that almost everyone of us wants to get rich because we know how a social honcho can dig up whatever he/she/it wants in a snap. Besides, who in this world dislike wealth! And speaking of assets plus tons of assets again, I wonder who made it to the Nouveau Riche list. Surething my fabulous name is not there but it interests me to know who are the richest men of this planet and of course the wealth they own. Quite fascinating to me and not sure with you though.. Hmmm.. But the catch of knowing the list is the idea behind the term Nouveau Riche. Wikipedia speaks that these are the people who were previously part of a lower socioeconomic rank and through their persistence for hard work led them to obtain the luxuries of life here and there. In short, they are the ‘rags to riches’ group who inspired mankind big time. Moving is in it? I’ve read success stories of people who hit the rocky roads in full spirit and determination to accomplish the heights of social status. It’s indeed very inspirational and they obviously deserve their current socioeconomic stand. Now, how does that make you feel?.. It’s funny that most of us want to get instantly rich with gold-digs, lotteries and all yet overlooking the admirable Nouveau Riche men who worked it like ‘ironman’ to get wealthy. Something to ponder here for all us.. vi-a-v!

Davao Escapade Part 1

I’m back! I’m back from DC! Davao City that is. Hehehe.. I know I had a long blog break. Oh well, life is getting busier these days which I kinda like somehow. Who wouldn’t? Christmas is just so around the corner noh. And talking about my Davao escapade? Fantastic! I love Davao! That’s the truth for now at least.. I honestly fell in love with the capital and I never imagined how it can be 70% or probably 80% trash-free unlike any other provincial cities I went to base on my personal cleanometer. Promise! Even Cebu City is no match. What I like about Davao is how serious their local government in implementing its city ordinance. Public smoking is not tolerated and no littering allowed. In short, you gotta hold your horses in complying to the city rules if you don’t wanna end up with pesoses fines and do community service for a day. And to take note, political figures and celebrities alike are not exempted to the rules. So be very careful..

That’s all for now and I’ll promise to make a separate entry with our camwhoring at its finest. Charot! Hehehe! For the meantime, here some of the pics.

vi-a-v as always! Mwahs!

Question. How do you get yourself rich? Commoner like me is not the right person to know it and you’ll probably think of the internet get-me-wealthy scams here. But seriously, if you’ll be asked this question, how are you going to respond to it. Tough huh! I know that majority of the homosapiens of this planet want to be financially rich to suffice our daily material demands. Count myself in to that. And how on earth can you ever achieve it? Education is one. But not just a typical learning course but excellent enough to guarantee discipline and skills for success. Have you heard of Nouveau Riche University? Well, It’s about time you do. Nouveau Riche University is an educational institution which claims to surpass the basics of educational system. It offers tools which helps develop great learning process in the investment field. The university formulated courses to teach their students on the strategies of investments concepts as a preparation in the realms of the business world. Not only that, Nouveau Riche University put together learning practices which allow students to effectively beat necessary investment tools, concepts, and techniques to achieving the right success. Nice noh? But once again, a reminder that success always lies in your hands so do something with it. Hehehe. vi-a-v!

Davao Davao Davao

Work uniforms by S&H

Let’s talk about work uniforms today, shall we?.. Have you guys ever worked in a firm that has its own uniform for all? Me? I haven’t. I’m not really a fan of uniforms but why not. And speaking of which, it fascinates me seeing hard-working professionals with their uniforms on, in an identical cut and style. You can sense specific professionalism and leadership development there. The major idea of uniforms is for the business to be identified from the rest. Servicing customers dashing a fab uniform adds a probability level of customer satisfaction. I think it’s pretty cute too if you sashay towards your workplace wearing an identifiable uniform so people can easily tell where you should be going and not to somewhere else. Hehehe. And to those businesses out there that need uniform services, S&H Uniforms at www.sandhuniforms.com provides what your company requires. For almost 40 years they have been offering consistency in high visibility clothing work garbs to their loyal clienteles ranging from casual to medical and even to chef uniforms. So whichever industry you are in, business dealt and done. And apart from the finest uniforms they offer, they give you the lowest possible prices on top of that. Indeed quality service and reasonable value at S&H Uniforms. vi-a-v!

My new fugly look

The goddesses had spoken. I need to have my haircut and prophecy granted! I honestly hate myself why I did this. Well, it was due to my parents planned visit this coming weekend and it ringed me to do ‘transformer’ again.. LOL! You know how a fake closet fag I am. This hide my-true-self-thing-infront-of-my-family is really causing me emotional distress. Promise! I never had the balls to let my familia know how fab and chic their son is for like 23 years of my existence. I guess the right time will just come for this BIG revelation thing to happen.. And when I speak BIG, it’s really BIG with buffet and fireworks display. Hahaha!

Anyhow, it was funny coz when I talked to my stylist KC of Bench Fix SM Cebu (thanks KC!), I instantly told him to give me the ‘Amy Perez’ look. And viola v! Pera o Bayong is me! LOL!

I know I don’t look like Amy Perez with my new hair but a hideous looking horse. *whine whine whine* Right?.. Hahaha! I was hoping for an least quite masculine appeal but I turned out to be a conservative looking bulldyke instead.. ‘Pre, pa-buenas naman dyan.’ Hahaha! Ewwww! vi-a-v!
