The US election is over and America voted for Obama. Now, here’s a video of Matt Daemon’s commentary on the possibility if Sarah Palin won the position.

And boy I extremely agree with him! You can really see his discontent on the given chance if Ms. Palin won and absolute no room for approval in his words there. I haven’t kept track of the US Election but I’ve seen and read over the internet who Sarah Palin is. She’s one hot mamita but I don’t feel her competence as leader of a global-powerhouse nation. In my opinion, her political views are afar from Americans (and the rest of the world) expectations of a leader for a positive change. And US made the right choice for Obama. That’s all and topic closed.. Poof! vi-a-v!

Amazing grandeur! That’s how I describe it! I just finished watching the opening of 2008 Beijing Olympics (thanks to YouTube) and I’m so awed with the overall event. I’ve never seen such marvelous pageantry of eye-popping fireworks to jaw-dropping costumes to wow performances and even how the Olympic Flame was lit.. Magnifique! Chinese really knows how to weerrrkk it! Indeed, made in China! Hihihi.. But what caught me is this shot of these two global big guns and a photo intruder?.. You know who.. Look closely.. Familiar huh?.. Spotted.. Her Excellency! Hmmm.. Hihihi..

How nice! China will then be again $1 billion richer ever! That if the thousand Chinese earthquake victims will win the pot from filing suit against Sharon Stone’s sensitive comments on Sichuan’s catastrophic earthquake. Take note, they’re gonna be expensively stalking Ms. Stone for condemning the situation as ‘karma’ over China’s occupation on Tibet. Which ended up to be an unexpected one-billion-dollar karma on her part.  tsk.. tsk.. tsk..

It’s pretty sad though how an iconic celebrity like Ms. Stone made such a clumsy remark. I mean, freedom of speech is a prerogative anyone has but you have to carefully fit it depending on the culture, society, background, etc. you’re gonna be throwing it on. Remember the Claire Danes issue back in 1998 when she visited Philippines and commented how ghastly and weird Manila as a city? It created such bang to the entire Filipino community leading her to be banned in this nation.

In my opinion, it simply boils down to thinking before speaking.. So next time you wanna say something, think it over first.. You don’t want to end-up spending mucho because of what your fowl mouth had said.. So be very careful.. vi-a-v!

Sad week…

What a very mournful week it is… Very very tragic..

Saturday of last week (June 19, 2008), hundreds of lives have been lost as the Princess of the Stars’ passenger ship was swallowed by the towering waves of typhoon ‘Frank’. Don’t know the exact details how it went but base on survivors stories it happened really quick within 15 minutes time. Thankfully, out of 800+ travelers and crews, there were numbers of them who survived from that traumatic tragedy. It’s a simple reminder how furious nature is most especially when its forces are defied by carelessness of human behavior. Now, with all the dramas, people involved are all washing their hands with glitters and pinpointing whose responsibility it was. Why can’t they tell who the culprit is to pave the pain of the innocent victims who suffered from it. They’re all being crappy coz no one does the confession. What is more shockera is that, the incident does not only involve lost human lives but the possibility of sea poisoning since coastguard divers just discovered a very toxic substance endosulfan that went along the sunken vessel which supposedly shouldn’t be in there. That made the problem worse! It’s double jeopardy already! I was actually astounded the moment I found out about what happened. Loosing someone you love is such an emotional breakdown and it’s not gonna be an easy thing. All we can do is offer prayers to those who lost it. Hope to those families out there who are still in search of their missing loved ones. May God have mercy on them…
